Super oversized drawstring trousers with open hem (can be adjusted with button), wide straight leg, long rise, pockets in side seam and a practical large back pocket.
SOL is called Snowpant because they are based on the original “Snow camouflage”. They were just simple white garments worn over warm winter clothing, so they had to be super big but cut to be active and manoeuvrable. The seam construction is cleverly balanced to prevent rips.
I bought my first vintage pair in a second-hand shop in the 90s in Hamburg. At the time there were hundreds of them in shops (as the German military was reduced and social service became bigger and bigger) dyed up in different colours to make them more appealing than just white. At the time I thought they were the coolest trousers ever, I had a blue pair which I wore all the time for maybe 5 years. My uniform was snowpant, a t-shirt and a sweatshirt, buzz cut. It was perfect and it may still be one of my favourite trousers styles.
We’ve been adding the Snowpant in our collection since the first season and Simon made a version with perfectly working side pockets not just slits as the original ones; we have also added a back pocket. We have initially launched in cotton poplin and then added it in organic denim and then woven wool for the winter. Comes with a button on the hem to help when cycling or whenever you need a less wide hem.
It’s the uniform of half of our team now as the SOL is just one of the best trousers ever!

Additional Information: Irregular satin with fluid handle and peach finish. Sustainable sourced FSC wood fibre with highest standard of clean water processing, woven in Tuscany. Organic corozo nut button carved in Padua, Italy and Swiss recycled brass zipper.

UK ORDERS
UK orders are sent via DHL. Expected arrival date for UK shipments is 1-5 working days from the confirmation of the order.
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS
We use international courier services for orders shipping outside of the UK, normally DHL. Expected arrival date for international orders is approximately 3-7 days from the confirmation date. Buyer will receive a shipment confirmation email with a tracking number. For international orders, customs charges may be charged on arrival depending on the country in which you reside. VON SONO is not responsible for the payment of this import taxes and duties.
Shipping is non-refundable and paid by the customer.

RETURNS
We are glad to exchange any full price, unworn, unwashed item if you notify us within 7 days of receipt and return it to us within 14 days of receipt of your online order.
All items that are returned for an exchange or refund must be unworn and have their original tags and packaging.
All sales are final on sale products, swimwear, underwear and books. Please note that only products that are in their original condition will be refunded, others will be returned to the customers at their own cost.
Please be aware that the buyer is responsible for any return shipping costs. SONO is not responsible for return shipping costs nor duty reimbursement in the case of international purchases.
All sales are final after 14 days of purchase.Your return will be processed as soon as possible but allow up to 7 days for your refund to be processed. We hold the right to deny refunds if the product returned does not meet our return policy requirements.
