Super oversized extra long version of the SHAMAN shirt with a 3/4 sleeve and pockets hidden in the side seam.
We are always drawn to the 100 year old tuxedo dinner shirts you find on antique markets and love to collect them. They are normally stiff starched and a bit weird, so we wash and wash them to remove the starch, customise, add buttons and then wear them in the most informal way with shorts or Snowpants on the beach. This was the starting point for this shirt.
A collarless shirtdress with all formality and structure removed, the unusual teardrop hem shape was a wonder discovery, of all the shirts we have studied, researched and designed over the last 25 years and we had never come across this hem shape. It allows the person who is sewing to glide the hem fold and stitch round and close into the front half placket in one beautiful motion without any stop start, it brings a smile when you work it out! The overlapping nature of the teardrop shape means you can wear little underneath or just use a couple of buttons and the shirt still covers.
We kept the hand gathered back yolk but made the sleeve wide and comfortable with a pin hem instead of a cuff to keep a lightness and make the sleeve easy to roll up.

Additional information: Raw poplin, untreated with a wrinkled character and a bit heavier than our other Poplin. Woven for us by a small family business in Tuscany. Garment washed.

UK ORDERS
UK orders are sent via DHL. Expected arrival date for UK shipments is 1-5 working days from the confirmation of the order.
INTERNATIONAL ORDERSÂ
We use international courier services for orders shipping outside of the UK, normally DHL. Expected arrival date for international orders is approximately 3-7 days from the confirmation date. Buyer will receive a shipment confirmation email with a tracking number. For international orders, customs charges may be charged on arrival depending on the country in which you reside. VON SONO is not responsible for the payment of this import taxes and duties.
Shipping is non-refundable and paid by the customer.

RETURNS
We are glad to exchange any full price, unworn, unwashed item if you notify us within 7 days of receipt and return it to us within 14 days of receipt of your online order.
All items that are returned for an exchange or refund must be unworn and have their original tags and packaging.Â
All sales are final on sale products, swimwear, underwear and books. Please note that only products that are in their original condition will be refunded, others will be returned to the customers at their own cost.
Please be aware that the buyer is responsible for any return shipping costs. SONO is not responsible for return shipping costs nor duty reimbursement in the case of international purchases.
