Candy has a long story - if you just want to know the facts, here they are: fantastic cable cardigan, slightly cropped and super soft, cute, and available in natural, charcoal, and red this season.
Here comes the story: visiting friends in Brussels years ago, we came across a second-hand shop (where everything was sold by the kg). We found a few things, including a very small, shrunken natural cable cardigan, which someone had washed too hot and which, at the time, was still a little too big for our 3-year-old twins. We bought it, put new buttons on it, and one of them wore it for several years until she really couldn’t fit into it anymore.
At the time, I wanted one for myself, so we asked our hand knitters to knit me one. We worked out the pattern, and it came out perfectly: slightly cropped, a bit boxy in the body, and super cute. It made it into the next winter collection and had a little success story until the hand knitters said, "No more Candy cardigans!" (It is so time-consuming to make these kinds of patterned pieces by hand.)
So the dream of the Candy was over - until we met our new London knit factory. They are always up for a challenge, and they are now knitting it for us. Even by machine, it takes many hours to make, but the final result is almost the same as the old hand-knitted version - just technique over craft. Well, it is a craft in itself to program the machines, do the linking, and everything else... Behind every step is a human being. And the magic of making a garment out of a thread and two needles continues.

Additional Information: In a high twist, extra durable wool yarn. Ethically bred and GOTS certified, fair trade and responsibly sourced, sheared, and reared, unprocessed, unbleached free from any treatments, dyestuffs or toxins. Completely untreated as the natural colour of the animal, spun in Biella using 100% green hydro energy.

UK ORDERS
UK orders are sent via DHL. Expected arrival date for UK shipments is 1-5 working days from the confirmation of the order.
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS
We use international courier services for orders shipping outside of the UK, normally DHL. Expected arrival date for international orders is approximately 3-7 days from the confirmation date. Buyer will receive a shipment confirmation email with a tracking number. For international orders, customs charges may be charged on arrival depending on the country in which you reside. VON SONO is not responsible for the payment of this import taxes and duties.
Shipping is non-refundable and paid by the customer.

RETURNS
We are glad to exchange any full price, unworn, unwashed item if you notify us within 7 days of receipt and return it to us within 14 days of receipt of your online order.
All items that are returned for an exchange or refund must be unworn and have their original tags and packaging.
All sales are final on sale products, swimwear, underwear and books. Please note that only products that are in their original condition will be refunded, others will be returned to the customers at their own cost.
Please be aware that the buyer is responsible for any return shipping costs. SONO is not responsible for return shipping costs nor duty reimbursement in the case of international purchases.
All sales are final after 14 days of purchase.Your return will be processed as soon as possible but allow up to 7 days for your refund to be processed. We hold the right to deny refunds if the product returned does not meet our return policy requirements.
